Due to the ongoing federal government shutdown, SNAP benefits in Pennsylvania are temporarily paused. As of October 16, no additional SNAP payments will be issued until the federal government reopens and funding is restored. This means November benefits and new approvals made after October 16 will not be paid until the shutdown ends.

If you or someone you know relies on SNAP, help is available right now. Franklin County is home to a strong network of emergency food providers ready to support individuals and families during this time.
